OUT: The Saga

A groundbreaking new LGBTQ web series, Out: A Saga, a suspense-thriller crime drama. The series follows an aspiring drag performer who becomes a target in a crime spree that tears the community apart. Friends become enemies and enemies become friends because in this universe nothing is as it appears to be.

Directed and edited by Perdell Richardson, an innovative and award-winning creator, director, producer and editor.

Aaron Johnson Levy - Creator

Gay activist, actor and writer Aaron Johnson Levy turns to crowdfunding to produce a new web TV series "Out: A Saga"—a suspense-thriller project that showcases LGBTQ actors playing LGBTQ characters that are rarely seen on screen.

In late 2017, Aaron Johnson Levy was cast in the feature film Hey, Mr. Postman (2018) which stars Omar Gooding, Paula Jai Parker and many other veteran actors. The production gave him an opportunity to play an openly gay character unlike any that he had ever seen on-screen. The experience inspired him to write the LGBT thriller known as "Out: A Saga".

Indiegogo

An Indiegogo campaign was launched on March 4th, 2018 to raise the $2000 necessary to film the pilot episode. Like other crowdfunding sites, Indiegogo.com allows artists a set number of days to raise a designated amount of funding. Out: A Saga has a three-week fundraising window to reach the $2000 target. If the allotted budget isn't raised before March 23rd, 2018, Indiegogo will take an additional 4% of the pledges (totaling 9%) before releasing the accumulated funds to the artist.
